LOGISTICS COORDINATOR

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Base operation management of all company assets, material inventory control, equipment utilization planning, layout yard and warehouse management, materials load out, personnel and community relations.
2. Proper operation of the Material Management System and preparation of necessary requisitions for spare parts and materials based on the established minimum stock limits as well as keeping accurate records of parts and materials used, transferred, lost or received.
3. ⁠Plan and manage inventory levels of materials or products, as well as control the movement of company owned materials.
4. ⁠Oversee the load out and discharge of all materials to ensure safe stowing and segregation practices in all areas of the base.
5. ⁠Maintain the company’s assets, stores and inventory management system and ensure these systems are fully operational at al times.
6. ⁠Conduct annual stock and inventory checks as well as supervise the process for regular inventory checks.
7. ⁠Arrange for freight forwarding service for the prompt and steady delivery of products.
8. ⁠Provide safekeeping of inventory in the warehouse by implementing or adhering to the strictest security and safety policies and procedures.
9. ⁠Clearly label all materials in stock and store at their appropriate designations.
10. ⁠Establish a storage area for all undercover and outside materials and equipment.
11. ⁠Control the movement of service and company materials, consignments,stock and rental equipment.
12. ⁠Identify and evaluate the value of items to write off (non- moving, expired, shelf- life, and technology replaced items).
13. ⁠Ensure all registers are kept to date for accountability during the auditing process.
14. ⁠Manage daily logistics and supply of goods to meet Offshore logistics demands⁠.
15. Coordinate Marine logistics, transportation (push tugs and barging) of materials from Warri
    base to field operations
16. ⁠Confirm all shipping records for material shipments barged from base to oil field.
17. Ensure safe loading of materials onboard vessels/boats and adhering to laid down safety rules.
18. ⁠Collaborate within supply chain to ensure two-way communication workflow.
19. ⁠Encourage development of strategic cost-saving ideas.
20. ⁠Develop materials receiving, storage and transshipment record and reporting for chemicals
    and allied products.
21. Manage Personnel logistics, hotel reservations and accommodation, air ticket and travel’s arrangements
