RESPONSIBILITIES

• Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
• Perform tasks and activities assigned by the Second Engineer.
• Keep engine room watches as required by the Chief Engineer.
• Assist engineers in the repair, general maintenance, and fabrication of machinery.
• Support the stowing and handling of spare gears and stores.
• Record routine soundings and basic logbook information as directed by the Duty Engineer.
• Report any incidents to the Chief Engineer.
• Identify and report substandard acts and conditions to the Second Engineer.
• Perform any other duties allocated by the Chief Engineer.

REQUIREMENTS

• Relevant marine certification as an Oiler/Wiper.
• Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in marine or offshore operations.
• Strong understanding of engine room operations and maintenance.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and company policies.
• Physically fit for offshore and engine room duties.
