OIM (OFFSHORE INSTALLATION MANAGER)

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Direct and control production, well services, process, and facilities operations/activities to ensure performance targets are met.
2. ⁠Ensures ful compliance with all mandatory procedures and regulations that relate to production operations.
3. ⁠Oversees daily production/platform operation activities.
4. ⁠Organizes, supervises and delegates the activities of the offshore personnel, so as to ensure that preventative maintenance, housekeeping and repairs are performed in a timely manner.
5. ⁠Promotes and maintains a safe environment for all personnel offshore, ensuring ongoing development and training of employees and equipment is maintained to a high standard.
6. ⁠Health, Safety and Welfare of all offshore personnel: ensure all activities are managed within the boundaries of the company safety management system.
7. ⁠Manage any emergency response situations as the Field Incident Commander ensuring appropriate resources are mobilized and notifications made.
8. ⁠Ensure that the offshore organization is performing efficiently according to the operation model and also ensure requisite development and improvement of the organization.
9. ⁠Ensure cooperation among the offshore production and maintenance personnel and efficient work processes across their shifts.
10. ⁠To ensure that contractors and subcontractors execute work according to contract requirements, recognized technical standards and the company requirements, including inspections of their equipment in use to confirm proper equipment standards.
11. ⁠Advise on proposed modifications and certification of facilities in consultation with senior operations management.
    •⁠ ⁠⁠Ensure appropriate levels of justification are provided.
    •⁠ ⁠Ensure full compliance with technical integrity standards.
    •⁠ ⁠Develop and implement offshore manning strategies, succession planning, and personnel development.
    •⁠ ⁠Supervise the offshore Production and Maintenance Supervisors.
    •⁠ ⁠Liaise daily with the shore base support functions to ensure an effective colaborative environment between the offshore work team and the shore base Operations.
